When training your pigeons look for the following signs

1. When released they head straight for home not endless circling

2. When arriving home at the loft there is no hanging about they go straight in the loft not spend time on the roofs or garden

3. If released in batches they arrive at the loft in batches i.e. subsequent batches have been unable to catch up with the batches released earlier – they are all fit and racing

4. Needless to say if they all come as one group it is not a good sign some have been dawdling.
